The learning map
Every step has steps before it.
Choose an idea to see its foundations, a question to try, and a path you can work through together.
Website language changes the parent guide. Learning topics, examples and AI prompts stay in English. Search using English topic names.
Year filters apply to the 16 NZ activities. Original topics retain approximate ages and are not yet mapped to NZ years.

About the NZ version
Useful, open, and honest about being a draft.
The NZ adaptation is a draft built from published, openly licensed sources. It is not endorsed by the Ministry of Education and has not yet been reviewed by NZ teachers.
Where it comes from
Published curriculum documents
The original Marble graph includes international curriculum references; many original topics have no standard link. The 16 NZ contexts link to public sources and carry a separate editorial review status. Source records were checked on 18 October 2026.
What we have changed
16 NZ activities, with suggested year bands
NZ coins, local ecology, public transport and other home activities sit alongside the original graph. Only these additions have suggested NZ year bands. This first release supports English-medium learning; it does not cover Te Marautanga o Aotearoa or the full NZ Curriculum.

What it is not
Not official, not an assessment
It is not a Ministry resource, a school report, or a test. Children learn at different paces, and a step being “later” is never a problem.
Not Ministry endorsedNot teacher reviewed
Who checks it
Open to correction
Anyone can flag a step that looks wrong. We want NZ teachers and kaiako to review the mapping, and every change is public.
Are you a teacher or kaiako? Help review the NZ mapping for your learning area.
Your parent username, salted password hash, hashed sessions and access credentials. We do not collect child profiles or save MCP learning inputs. Topic checkmarks stay in your browser until you clear them. The hosting provider processes network requests and limited technical logs to run the service.
Deleting your account removes its login, sessions and tokens. Do not send child names, schools, birth dates, health information or private school records through the tools. Your chosen AI provider handles conversations under its own privacy terms.
Use alongside school learning
This is a free, independent open beta for adults supporting children. Activities and NZ mappings are editorial drafts, not teacher reviewed. AI answers can be wrong. Review answers together; ask your child's teacher when a learning need is unclear.
Mathematics and English sources reflect the 2026 curriculum. Science and Social Sciences source records distinguish published 2027 content from current implementation. The original graph is primarily based on overseas curricula.
